This role involves financial modeling, investment analysis, budgeting, and reporting, leveraging advanced analytics tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Analysis & Reporting
Analyze financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements) to assess company performance.
Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Conduct benchmarking analysis against industry peers and competitors.
2. Financial Modeling & Forecasting
Develop dynamic financial models (DCF, LBO, M&A, budgeting).
Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to evaluate business risks.
Support long-term strategic planning with data-driven projections.
3. Investment & Business Performance Analysis
Evaluate investment opportunities (stocks, bonds, private equity).
Assess capital allocation strategies (ROI, NPV, IRR calculations).
Conduct market research to identify industry trends and growth opportunities.
4. Budgeting & Cost Analysis
Assist in annual budget preparation and variance analysis .
Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
Track KPIs (EBITDA, gross margin, working capital) and recommend optimizations.
5. Data Analytics & Automation
Use BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView) to visualize financial data.
Automate reports using Excel (VBA, Power Query, PivotTables) .
Leverage Python/R for advanced financial analytics (predictive modeling).
6. Stakeholder Communication
Present findings to senior management, investors, and clients .
Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights .
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, IT) .
