We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile development processes and drive continuous improvement within our software engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be a servant leader who empowers teams to deliver high-value products through effective Scrum practices. You will remove impediments, foster collaboration, and ensure Agile principles are applied to maximize efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Facilitation & Coaching

• Guide and coach Scrum Teams (Developers, Product Owners, Stakeholders) on Agile/Scrum best practices
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Reviews)
• Promote self-organization and continuous improvement within teams
• Remove impediments and shield the team from distractions
• Track and report Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time)

Process Optimization

• Ensure adherence to Scrum framework while adapting to team needs
• Implement Scaling Agile (SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum@Scale) for cross-team alignment
• Drive continuous improvement through actionable retrospectives
• Collaborate with Product Owners to refine backlogs and prioritize user stories

Technical Collaboration

• Work closely with DevOps and Engineering teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines
• Support Agile tooling (Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello) for backlog management
• Advocate for test automation and quality-first development practices
• Assist in dependency management across multiple Scrum teams

Qualifications & Experience
Education & Certifications

• Required:
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PSM (Professional Scrum Master)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Preferred:
  • Advanced Agile Certifications (SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP)
  • Technical Background (experience in software development or DevOps)

Experience

• 3+ years as a Scrum Master in software development teams
• 2+ Agile transformations or scaling initiatives (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus)
• Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools (Jira, Rally)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated testing)
